About Entech Engineering
Thomas Engineering, Inc. was organized in September of 1973 by Wade G. Thomas to design and observe the installation of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, plumbing systems, sprinkler systems and other associated mechanical systems. These systems were for commercial, educational, institutional, governmental and industrial buildings. We have since provided engineering services on over five thousand projects.
In November 1984, Thomas Engineering, Inc. merged with Tune, Billings, an electrical engineering firm. Tune, Billings was organized in 1978 by Paul Billings and Nick Tune.
The result of the merger between Thomas Engineering, Inc. and Tune, Billings is Entech Engineering, Inc.
The philosophy of Entech Engineering is to provide complete mechanical and electrical engineering services with personnel having technical ability and practical experience in the field. Continuing education is emphasized, with personnel encouraged to attend seminars, manufacturer sponsored schools and in-house training sessions.
The firm, in keeping with the urgent need to conserve energy, strives constantly to design systems that operate at the greatest possible efficiency for the smallest possible cost.
He then moved to Entech Engineering, Inc. in 1990 to begin his career as Project Manager in the mechanical department. He attended Belmont University and received his Master of Business Administration in 1992.
In 1998 Mitchell became President of the firm and has helped improve existing standards to optimize performance of design. He is involved in all aspects of the company including design and supervision of mechanical systems along with management of personnel. He has extensive knowledge in HVAC, plumbing and medical gas system design for various healthcare, commercial, retail and educational facilities. Mitchell is registered in 47 states.
He has grown with us and mastered the art of designing systems to meet our client’s specific goals through excellent communication and a thorough background of various mechanical, plumbing and medical gas systems.
In 2001 Ben became Vice President of the firm, he is registered in Tennessee and a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers.
